NO-PREP VENEERS

No-Prep Veneers

Built on precise diagnosis and careful design,
we reduce unnecessary tooth reduction
and achieve a natural
shape and color.

What are no-prep veneers?

A veneer is a cosmetic treatment that bonds a thin layer of ceramic to the tooth surface
to improve color and shape for a natural,
attractive look.

No-Prep Veneers 4 Key Features

We put preserving natural teeth first, reduce the burden
of treatment,
and improve the shape and color of the teeth
in a natural way.

Point 01

Minimal Tooth Reduction

The tooth-shaping step is minimized or skipped and a thin veneer is bonded,
preserving as much natural tooth as possible.

Relatively Short Treatment Process

Although it varies with the condition of the teeth and fabrication, the process from detailed diagnosis
and design to fabrication and bonding is relatively streamlined.

Harmonious Cosmetic Improvement

Even with gaps between teeth or differences in size and shape, we design a natural smile
that considers the overall harmony of the neighboring teeth and the face.

Less Need for Anesthesia

When tooth reduction is not required, treatment can proceed without anesthesia,
so there is less disruption to your daily life afterward.

Conventional Veneers vs. No-prep Veneers:
the Difference

Both treatments improve the color and shape of the teeth,
but they differ in how much tooth is reduced, which teeth
qualify, and the treatment process
.
The right method depends on the current condition of your teeth
and the extent of improvement you want.

No-Prep Veneers Frequently Asked Questions

Browse the questions patients most often ask
before visiting Seoul Standard Dental Clinic.

Do no-prep veneers really involve no tooth reduction at all?

When the position and shape of the teeth are suitable, the procedure can be done without any reduction. However, depending on how far the teeth protrude,
their alignment and the bite, minimal reduction may be needed to achieve a natural result.

Can anyone get no-prep veneers?

They are not suitable in every case.
If the teeth protrude significantly or are irregularly aligned, or if there is tooth decay, gum disease or severe teeth grinding, other treatment may need to come first.

Will the veneers look thick or unnatural?

Veneers can look bulky if they are bonded without considering tooth size, alignment and the lip line.
What matters is a precise diagnosis and a design process that tailors thickness, shape and color to each patient.

Is anesthesia needed, and does it hurt?

When no tooth reduction is required, the procedure can be done without anesthesia and is relatively easy to tolerate.
If minimal reduction or other treatment is needed at the same time, local anesthesia may be used in that area.

Is the veneer price per tooth or for the whole set?

Pricing is per tooth.
Veneers at Seoul Standard Dental Clinic are KRW 500,000 per tooth (VAT not included), a price that applies when 6 or more teeth are treated (prices as of Aug 17, 2026, confirmed by the clinic director).
Veneers for cosmetic purposes are not covered by National Health Insurance (source: National Health Insurance Service).

How long do veneers last?

Replacement may be needed roughly every 5 to 10 years, with considerable individual variation.
If aging of the bonding agent causes gaps, discoloration or detachment, or if gum recession exposes the margin, the veneer becomes a candidate for replacement, and additional tooth reduction may be required when it is redone.

How should I care for my veneers?

If a gap forms at the margin between the veneer and the tooth, the natural tooth underneath can decay, so flossing, interdental brushes and regular checkups are essential.
Biting into hard foods with your front teeth raises the risk of fracture or detachment, so cut food into pieces instead. If a veneer comes off, keep the piece and visit the clinic promptly.
