aged 65 and over who have lost some of their teeth.
We review your current oral condition and any previous
insurance-covered implants, register you as eligible, and then proceed with treatment.

Up to 2 implants per person for life, regardless of upper or lower jaw, front or back teeth.
Insurance-covered implants received at another dental clinic count toward this limit.
Regular National Health Insurance members pay 30% of the total covered fee.
For near-poor (next-lower income bracket) and Medical Aid beneficiaries, the copayment rate may differ depending on eligibility.
Currently, insurance-covered implants are for partially edentulous patients, meaning some natural teeth remain.
Fully edentulous patients are not eligible for insurance-covered implants.
Additional procedures needed for implant placement, such as bone grafts or sinus lifts, may incur separate charges.
A detailed examination is needed to determine whether additional treatment is required.
Coverage applies when the implant is placed with a two-piece (separable) fixture and the designated prosthetic materials (source: National Health Insurance Service guide to dental implant coverage).
The scope of coverage has been revised over time, so we also check the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service notice in effect at the time of treatment.
The dental clinic submits a registration form for the National Health Insurance implant program, and treatment begins once the National Health Insurance Service confirms eligibility (source: National Health Insurance Service).
You must be aged 65 or over and partially edentulous, and the limit is 2 implants per person for life, counting the upper and lower jaws together.
